The free webinars are presented by IFLA Continuing Professional Development and Workplace Learning  and IFLA New Professionals Special Interest Group in partnership with ALA.

·         Continuing Professional Development for new professionals, how to stay up to date from the very start even if conditions at work (funding/permission to attend conferences, support with writing articles, etc.) are not the best.

The 2011 ALA Annual Virtual Conference takes place July 13-14, with various sessions available throughout the day on both days.  The last session on July 13, "Perceptions of New Professionals", might be of interest to NMRT members:
